Richard Hatton sees clearly that both he and his comrade will come to “Swing” on the gallows for havingfi murdered Ollwel, and, seeing the impossibility of escape, they carry the dead man’s body cut in a backsroom, w agge”rv Criss discovers that the ex-convict Richard Hatton’s app=arance is very much like Mr. Cllwel’s.
