NOVEMBER 2012 OCCUPANCY REPORT BUREAU OF ECONOMIC RESEARCH NOVEMBER HIGHLIGHTS - In total, the Territory received 250,237 visitors, a 6.5 percent decrease from a year ago. - The Territory’s reported hotel occupancy rate for November 2012 averaged 48.1 percent, the same level reported one year earlier. - Total arrivals from January to November were 2,339,590 compared to 2,376,163 recorded during the same eleven month period in 2011. - There were 627,710 registered hotel guests during this eleven-month period TOURISM STATISTICS JANUARY TO NOVEMBER 2012 Total arrivals from January to November were 2,339,590 compared to 2,376,163 recorded during the same eleven month period in 2011. Year-to-date air arrivals grew a strong 9.9 percent to 667,874 from 607,986 last year. Cruise passengers arrivals declined by 5.5 percent from last year--1,676,716 versus 1,768,177. There were 571 cruise ship calls during this period or 6.1 percent fewer calls than last year. The hotel occupancy rate averaged 47.6 percent for the first eleven months of this year, versus 51.1 percent one year ago. …
