January 10, 2020 AMENDMENT TWO (2) RFP-003-2020 (P) – To Provide Roadside/Gut Cleaning and Cemetery Maintenance Services on St. Croix, USVI INSERT: Question and Answers QUESTION: Can a respondent/bidder have a board member that’s a Virgin Islands Government employee enter into any contract? ANSWER: 3 V.I.C. § 1102 (1), which states “No territorial officer or employee shall be financially interested in any contract made or negotiated by him in his official capacity, or by any public agency of which he is a member.” Therefore, the answer to this question is NO. All other terms and conditions remain the same. A copy of this amendment must be returned with your bid.
