Most of the other Universities, including Uxford, have already granted full m=mbership to women, and the decision today means that women attending Cambridge Uni- versity who are present at the same lec- tured and take the same honours and ex- aminations as the men, are still prevent- ed from taking degrees. Among the ar- guments empioyed by the oppevents ot the women are that the University would become overcrowded and that Oxford al- ready regrets having granted women full membership.
