VIPD stands committed to being effective and inclusive while advancing public safety, continuing to value the service we provide to our community. Chief of Police for St. Thomas, St. John and Water Island Districts, Steven Phillip, also expressed his gratitude to the community. “I would like to thank the community for keeping the Uber Soca Cruise events fun and safe. It was a success and I know we will continue for our official upcoming carnival festivities. I would also like to thank the Virgin Islands Police Department, and other law enforcement agencies for their continuous support of being guardians of our community”. This year as we Illuminate our culture for the world to see, we can BE SAFE for carnival 2023. ###
