Texaco !nc PO Box 509 Environment Beacon NY 12505 Healtn anc Safety 9i4 631 340C .Division November 10, 1993 Caroline Kwan Remedial Project Manager USEPA Region II 26 Federal Plaza, Room 737 New York, New York 10278 RE: Texaco Tutu Service Station Investigation Dear Ms. Kwan: In order to further define the nature and extent of subsurface contamination at the Texaco Tutu service station, Texaco submits the attached proposed Work Plan for your review and approval. Phase I of the proposed Work Plan involves the installation of six (6) groundwater monitoring wells, the advancement of five (5) soil borings, and the collection of soil samples from below or adjacent to the base of the oil/water separator, septic tank and infiltration gallery. Phase II of the plan involves the implementation of interim remedial measures (IRM) in order to mitigate identified contaminates. In is anticipated that implementation of the proposed Work Plan will begin on November 29, 1993, upon your approval. Copies of this plan have been sent to the U.S.V.I. …
