On Monday, February 20, 2023, the Elections System of the Virgin Islands (ESVI)celebrated its Diamond Jubilee at Government House on St. Croix, U.S.V.I. Supervisor of Elections, Caroline F. Fawkes, provided a warm Virgin Islands welcome at ESVI Sixtieth Birthday Celebration Ceremony, to Honorable Governor Albert Bryan Jr., Honorable Lieutenant Governor Tregenza A. Roach, Esq., Honorable Delegate to Congress Stacey E. Plaskett, Honorable Senate President Novelle E. Francis, Jr., Senators of the 35th Legislature, Members of the Governor’s Cabinet and Senior Staff, Former Senators, Clergy, other distinguished guests such as the current and past Board Members, Staff, Elections Officials/Pollworkers, former British Virgin Islands Supervisor of Elections Juliette Penn and invited guest, family and friends. The second appointed Supervisor of Elections, John Abramson Jr., was the guest speaker. Mr. Abramson discussed the Elections System during the first Supervisor of Elections tenure, Henrita Todman, his accomplishments, and the current state of the Elections Systems of the Virgin Islands. …

The program was emceed by Former Board of Elections Dodson James. Remarks were provided by Honorable Governor Albert Bryan Jr., Honorable Lieutenant Governor Tregenza A. Roach, Esq., Honorable Senate President Novelle E. Francis, Jr., Ms. LaVerne Joseph on behalf of Honorable Delegate to Congress Stacey E. Plaskett, and Board of Elections Chairwoman Alecia M. Wells. Department of Human Services Commissioner, Kimberley Causey-Gomez gifted ESVI with its own senior card. Williams; Former Board of Elections Chairman, Mr. Adelbert M.
