ACrNO. 6697 BILL NO. 25-0216 TWENTY-FIFTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES Regular Session 2004 To amend title 29, chapter 5, Virgin Islands Code to standardize the Virgin Islands Building Code in conformity with the International Building Code and for other purposes ---0--- BE IT ENACTED by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 29, chapter 5, Virgin Islands Code is amended in the following instances. (a) Strike the phrases, “1994 Uniform Building Code’ and “1994 Uniform Building Code and any subsequent amendments thereto” wherever they appear and insert in lieu thereof “2003 International Building Code and any subsequent amendments thereto”. (b) Section 292, subsection (g) is amended by striking the phrase “Chapters one through seven, ten, and fourteen through thirty-five” and inserting in lieu thereof the phrase “chapters one through thirty-five”. …
