ACTNO, 7892 BILL NO. 31-0267 THIRTY-FIRST LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2016 An Act amending title 18 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 3, section 41 regarding Boards of Elections to establish a single Board of Elections o--0)--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION I. Title 18 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 3, section 41 is amended in the following instances: (a) The title is amended to read: “Board of Elections”. (b) Subsection (a) is amended by striking all of the language in the subsection and inserting new language that reads as follows: “There is a single Board of Elections that governs both election districts.” (c) Subsection (b) is amended by striking all of the language in the subsection and inserting new language that reads as follows: “The Board consists of fourteen members; seven from each district. who are elected by the electors of each election district beginning with the 2018 general election. …
