It was not our intention to take any notice f the remarks, so strikinglv do they show that the author of them know little of the conditions here prior to the time he has sojourned here, or he certainly would be a bi: more correct. Nevertheless as th> St. Thomas Bulletin has reprinted the articele and made some comment on 1, we give our readers the benefit of seeing what would-be representation of fac's can become wnen jumbled up. Tae poor was no worse off for obtaining medical treatment in so far as expenses were concerned, and the islanls can boast of having had some of the ‘most efficien: doctors. Operaticns for appendicitis are tod numerous to mention, and the names or Drs.
