Any person born in the South Jutland ish districts and possessed of German citizenship, shall acquire Danish ecitizen- ship, if, within June the 15th 1922 he makes a deeclaration of optior, provided only that, if he does not even theh reside here, he shall in rhe course of the next 12 months after naving made the détla- ration, take up his residznce in Danmark. As to opting persons not residingiin Ger- nany, dispensation with the requirement of setilement in Denmark may, however, be obtained from the Ministry of Home Affairs unless the person in question is possessed of citizenshw» also in the coun- try, where he is residing. Any persecn who, zccording to the above, wishes to make a declaration of option, will have to apply personally or in writing to the Royal Danish Consu- late at St. Thomnas before December the 3ist 1921, where further particulars will be given.
