LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS CERTIFICATE OF ENACTMENT NOTWITHSTANDING THE GOVERNOR’S VETO THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT, Act No. 8919 (Bill No. 35-0379) sections 1, 5, 6 and 11 - An Act making various amendments to titles 3, 33 and 20 of the Virgin Islands Code and making various amendments to Acts No. 8717, 8585 and 8759 passed by the Thirty-Fifth Legislature of the Virgin Islands at its regular session held on September 27, 2024, (a copy of which is attached hereto) and vetoed by the Governor on October 10, 2024, was duly enacted by override by the Thirty-Fifth Legislature at its regular session held on October 16, 2024, pursuant to section 9(d) of the Revised Organic Act of the Virgin Islands, 48 U.S.C. §1575 (d).
