ACTNO, 7757 BILL NO. 31-0183 THIRTY-FIRST LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2015 An Act naming the St. John Legislative Conference Room after Cleone Henrictta Creque ---0--- WHEREAS, Cleone Henrietta Creque was born on November 3, 1939, on the island of St John, Virgin Islands to the late Athy! Jurgen Sewer, formerly St. John’s Assistant Post Mistress, and Henry Oglivie Creque, Sr., former Republican senator; and WHEREAS, Cleone Creque attended the Bethany Elementary School located on St. John and the Charlotte Amalie High School on St. Thomas. Later, during her high school years she relocated to New Rochelle, New York, where she finished her studies at the New Rochelle High School and graduated with the class of 1955; and WHEREAS, she also attended the United Hospital School of Nursing in Port Chester, New York and graduated from the Royal Business School in Manhattan, New York; and WHEREAS, upon returning home, Cleone Creque attended the College of the Virgin Islands before embarking on a career of government services, which included: Assistant Administrator of St. …
