ACTNO. 6784 BILL NO. 26-0120 TWENTY-SIXTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session . 4 . To appropriate the sum of $4,800,000 from the General Fund to the Department of Finance for the Financial Management System upgrade and for personnel and related costs --0-- BE IT ENACTED by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. As listed in the Miscellaneous section of the Executive Budget for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2006, there is appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of Finance the sum of $2,800,000 for the Financial Management System upgrade. , SECTION 2. As listed in the Miscellaneous section of the Executive Budget for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2006, there is appropriated from the Genera] Fund the sum $2,000,000 to be used for the hiring of personnel throughout the executive branch for the implementation of the Financial Management System upgrade. SECTION 3. The sum appropriated in SECTIONS 1] and 2 remains available until expended. Thus passed by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands on September 23, 2005. …
