One case of smallpox was reported in Guantanamo. The case is a farm laborer, living about H miles from the town. He was taken sick February 11, has been isolated by order of the mayor, and a policeman placed in charge of the premises to prevent communication. The case is of a mild character. No other contagious or infectious disease has been reported. Daiquiri. - Acting Asst. Surg. Juan J. de Jongh reports that no deaths have occurred.
