The Authority is responsible for planning, financing, constructing, maintaining, and managing 32 public housing communities, containing 4,253 public housing units, in the Virgin Islands. The Authority received funding from three different sources--the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the Government of the Virgin Islands, and rental payments from tenants. …
