CT NO. 8057 BILL NO. 32-0055 THIRTY-SECOND LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2018 An Act providing for the Virgin Islands Department of Public Works to replace public parking signs that refer to “handicap parking”, and making an appropriation from the Transportation Trust Fund for replacement of parking signs and for other related purposes Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. The Virgin Islands Department of Public Works shall remove all public parking signs that refer to “handicap parking” and replace them with signs that refer to “persons with disabilities.” SECTION 2. Notwithstanding title 33 Virgin Islands Code, section 3003a, subsection (e), the sum of $20,000 is appropriated to the Department of Public Works in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2018, from the Transportation Trust Fund for the replacement of the signs identified in section | of this act.
