ACT NO 7528 BILL NO. 30-0112 THIRTIETH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2013 An Act amending title 3 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 27, section 706 (c) relating to the period for receiving a service retirement annuity by a retiree reentering government service ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 3 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 27, section 706 is amended in the first sentence of subsection (c) by striking “75 days each” and inserting “a total of 600 hours in any one-year period not to exceed two years”. SECTION 2. This Act takes effect July 8, 2013. SECTION 3. Title 3 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 25, section 593 is amended in subsection (e) by: (1) striking the phrase, “the provisions of Section 11 of this Act or any other law or provision to the contrary” and inserting in its place “subsection (a)”; and (2) striking “2013” and inserting “2016”.
