ACT NO. 7108 BILL NO. 28-0114 TWENTY-EIGHTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2009 An Act appropriating funds from the Government Insurance Fund for operating expenses of the Department of Finance and the Department of Labor for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2010 ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Notwithstanding 24 V.I.C., §265, the following sums, or so much of them as may be necessary, are appropriated out of the Government Insurance Fund for expenses, including wages of salaried employees of the Department of Finance, Office of the Custodian and the Department of Labor, Division of Occupational Safety and Health and the Division of Worker’s Compensation as follows: Fiscal Year 2010 6000 GOVERNMENT INSURANCE FUND 370 DEPARTMENT OF LABOR TOTAL DEPARTMENT OF LABOR $2,172,699 390 DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE TOTAL DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE $686,245 TOTAL GOVERNMENT INSURANCE FUND $2,858,944 2 Thus passed by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands on September 16, 2009. …
