B. HOADLEY Directed by LYONS and MORAN. § The Story: . Joe Blynn and William Wilson, in “*Once a Plumber”’, are two owners of a plumb- ing businessin the village of Olmford. William is a young man of optimistic ten- dencies and quite unlappy cver the unassuming character of their business anid its modest financial returns. Joseph a pessimist, desires to play safe and wants o stick to his trade. One day a hurry-up call comes from the mansion of a millionaire named Hf)ban, and the plumbers are summoned to fix a leak in the bathroom. Williams is overjoyed by this visit to one of tne homes Hf rhe elect and while they are” working in the batn- room tells Joe they should be in high societv. Hoban, the millionaire owner of the place, overhears William’s plaintive remarks, and when the leak has been fixed he sur- prises tae young men by inviting them to go in with him and his friends. The following Members were present : The Viee-Chairman (Conlter), 2 J. Blackwood, W. S. Abramson, J Alexan- der, Robt. W. Skeoch, G. B. rleming, ¥. Andersen, D. S. Armstrong, D. C. Canegata, K. Henderson, Thos. Ramsay. Commander Gaffney znd Despatching Secretary (Fox) attended the meeting The Chairman (Coulter) remarked: Honorable Members since the last meet- ing of the Council no communica‘ion has bean received from Government. Accordingly the bilance of the pro- ceedings were read by the Assistant. The first session of the elective period was opened on June 14. 1920. The following Oclinances, Resédlutions and Bills were introduced and disposed of in the course of the elective periog: . 1.
