Title 20, part II, chapter 37, subchapter II, section 407 of the Virgin Islands Code is amended by adding a new subsection (d) to read as follows: “(d) For purposes of this section “Virgin Islands veteran” or “veteran” means: (1) a person who entered active United States military service while domiciled in the Virgin islands or who was a domiciliary of the Virgin Islands but entered active military service while temporarily residing in another jurisdiction; or (2) a person with qualifying National Guard service as defined in 23 V.I.C. …
