ACTNO. 7846 BILL NO. 31-0157 THIRTY-FIRST LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2016 An Act amending title 20 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 43, section 501, subsection (f), to provide that all monies collected pursuant to subsection (f) be deposited into the District Public Road Fund and the Peace Officer Training Fund and disbursed onc half to the Department of Public Works and one half to the Virgin Islands Police Department to repair roads and for police training only |e Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 20 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 43, section 501, subsection (f), is amended by adding at the end of the subsection “which shall be disbursed one half to the Department of Public Works and one half to the Virgin Islands Police Department”. SECTION 2. The proceeds derived from the fines collected under subsection (f) must be deposited into the “District Public Road Fund” pursuant to 33 V.LC. §3002 and the “Peace Officer Training Fund” pursuant to 33 V.LC. §3051c. …
