ACTNO, 7614 BILL NO. 30-0368 THIRTIETH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2014 An Act ratifying Coastal Zone Permit No. CZT-02-13 (W) issued to the University of the Virgin Islands —-0-—- WHEREAS, the St. Thomas Committee of the Virgin Islands Coastal Zone Commission issued Coastal Zone Permit No. CZT-02-13 (W) to the University of the Virgin Islands on January 17, 2014, and the Governor approved the Permit on February 11, 2014; and WHEREAS, Coastal Zone Permit No. CZT-02-13 (W) authorizes the reconstruction and extension of the existing dock facility to 176', 6" long x 8" wide, the construction of fence and gate on the shoreward end of the dock, replacement of the concrete slab shoreward of the dock, and reconstruction of a concrete ramp on the north side of the dock seaward of Parcel No. 2 Estate John Brewers Bay, St. Thomas; and WHEREAS, title 12, section 911 (e) of the Virgin Islands Code provides that Governor’s approval must be ratified by the Legislature; and WHEREAS, the Legislature has determined that the grant of Coastal Zone Permit No. …
