University of the Virgin Islands Resolution of the Board of Trustees ______________________________________________________________________________ To Grant Trustee Emeritus Status to Jennifer Nugent-Hill ______________________________________________________________________________ WHEREAS, Mrs. Jennifer Nugent-Hill was appointed and confirmed to the Board of Trustees of the University of the Virgin Islands in May 2006 and served continuously until May 2018, during which time, Mrs. Nugent-Hill was nominated and confirmed as a member of the Board for a second term, and; WHEREAS, Mrs. Nugent-Hill served with distinction for 12 years, during the administration of two presidents of the University, and participated in numerous activities of the University, and; WHEREAS, during her distinguished service on the Board Mrs. Nugent-Hill served on the Audit Committee, Development Committee, Governance Committee, Finance and Budget Committee, and; WHEREAS, by virtue of her position as the chair of a committee she served on the Executive Committee of the Board for 10 years, and; WHEREAS, Mrs. …

University of the Virgin Islands Resolution of the Board of Trustees ______________________________________________________________________________ To Grant Trustee Emeritus Status to Jennifer Nugent-Hill ______________________________________________________________________________ WHEREAS, Mrs. Jennifer Nugent-Hill was appointed and confirmed to the Board of Trustees of the University of the Virgin Islands in May 2006 and served continuously until May 2018, during which time, Mrs. Nugent-Hill was nominated and confirmed as a member of the Board for a second term, and; WHEREAS, Mrs. Nugent-Hill served with distinction for 12 years, during the administration of two presidents of the University, and participated in numerous activities of the University, and; WHEREAS, during her distinguished service on the Board Mrs. Nugent-Hill served on the Audit Committee, Development Committee, Governance Committee, Finance and Budget Committee, and; WHEREAS, by virtue of her position as the chair of a committee she served on the Executive Committee of the Board for 10 years, and; WHEREAS, Mrs. Nugent-Hill provided those committees and the Board the benefit of her experience gained during her service in the private sector and public sector and her knowledge of higher education as an active alumnus, and; WHEREAS, it is fitting that in recognition of, and gratitude for her service as a member of the Board, Mrs. Jennifer Nugent Hill be granted the Status of Trustee Emeritus; NOW, THEREFORE IT BE RESOLVED that Mrs. Jennifer Nugent-Hill is hereby granted the status of Trustee Emeritus with all the rights, privileges, and responsibilities pertaining thereto. CERTIFICATION The undersigned does hereby certify that the foregoing is true and exact copy of the resolution of the Board of Trustees of the University of the Virgin Islands adopted at a meeting on Saturday, March 2, 2019, as recorded in the minutes of said meeting. ______________________________ _____________________ Henry C.
