61-2015 March 9, 2015 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Government House Communication Contacts: Kimberly Jones, Director Samuel Topp, Deputy Director GOVERNOR MAPP NOMINATES TWO MORE CABINET MEMBERS (St. Thomas, March 9, 2015) Governor Kenneth E Mapp and Lieutenant Gov- ernor Osbert E Potter held a press briefing today at Government House on St. Thomas. During the press briefing Governor Mapp announced two more nom- inations to the cabinet. Attorney Dawn Henry, has been nominated to the position of Commissioner for the Department of Planning and Natural Resources. Attorney Henry brings a multitude of experience and talent to the position of commissioner. “Attorney Henry is a product of our public education system. I am truly honoured to appoint her to the Department of Planning and Natural Resources, there are a lot of issues to tackle in our balance to protect the environment and yet grow our economy through development” Governor Mapp stated. Mona L Barnes, has been nominated to the position of Director for the Virgin Islands Territorial Emergency Management Authority. …
