ACT NO.649 4. BILL NO. 24-0198 ‘ TWENTY-FOURTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES Regular Session 2001 To transfer real property to the Department of Housing Parks and Recreation for use by the St. Thomas-St. John Racing Commission to provide automobile racing on the island of St. Thomas, and to provide for an appropriation —0--—- BE IT ENACTED by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. The Govemor, on behalf of the people of the Virgin Islands, through the Department of Property and Procurement, is authorized to transfer the property, or so much thereof as may be necessary, that is to be given to the Government of the Virgin Islands by the Harthman Family and identified as Parcels No. 27 and 28, Estate Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, as more adequately described on P.W.D. File Nos. A9-337-T86 and A9-332-T86, respectively, to the Department of Housing, Parks and Recreation for use by the St. Thomas-St. John Racing Commission for the purpose of providing automobile racing in the St. Thomas-St. John district.
