BVERRIDDIES DATE 07/18/01. BILL NO. 24-0043 TWENTY-FOURTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES E Regular Session 2001 To amend title 24, chapter 1, section 16, Virgin Islands Code, to increase the fines for violation of provisions relating to fair labor standard, to amend title 5, chapter 5S, sections 75, 76 and 77, Virgin Islands Code, relating to actions for personal injury and wrongful death and survival of tort actions, respectfully and for other purposes ---0--- BE IT ENACTED by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 24, chapter 1, section 16, Virgin Islands Code, is amended by striking “$500” wherever it appears and inserting in lieu thereof “$2500”. SECTION 2. Act No. 6403 is amended in the following instances: “Housing Finance Authority”; and (b) Section 5 is amended by inserting new items 6 and 7, and renumbering the existing items accordingly, to read as follows: “6, St. Croix 50 Plus Baseball League----------- 20,000 7. St. Thomas 50 Plus Baseball League-------- 20,000.” SECTION 3. …
