COMMITTEE ON BUDGET, APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE BILL NO. 35-0329 Thirty-Fifth Legislature of the Virgin Islands August 30, 2024 An Act providing an appropriation from the General Fund of the Treasury of the Government of the Virgin Islands to the Virgin Islands Fire and Emergency Medical Services to pay the arrearage owed to Pafford Medical Services for services rendered from June 28, 2023, through August 9, 2024 PROPOSED BY: Senator Ray Fonseca Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: 1 SECTION 1. (a) The sum of $3,508,061.30 is appropriated in the fiscal year ending 2 September 30, 2024, from the General Fund of the Treasury of the Government of the Virgin 3 Islands to the Virgin Islands Fire and Emergency Medical Services, to pay the arrearage owed 4 to Pafford Medical Services for services rendered from June 28, 2023, through August 9, 2024. 5 (b) The sum appropriated in subsection (a) remains available until expended. …
