ACTNO, 7595 BILL NO. 30-0268 THIRTIETH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2014 An Act amending title 27, chapter 9, subchapter I, section 305b of the Virgin Islands Code by prohibiting the sale of electronic cigarettes and alternative nicotine products to minors ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 27, chapter 9, subchapter I, section 305b of the Virgin Islands Code is amended as follows: (a) In subsection (b) by inserting after the words, “tobacco products”, the words “electronic cigarettes, or alternative nicotine products”; (b) ‘By inserting a new subsection (a) and redesignating the existing subsections accordingly. The new subsection (a) reads as follows: “(a) Definitions. qd) ‘Electronic cigarette’ means a battery-operated device that contains cartridges filled with a combination of nicotine, flavor and chemicals that are turned into a vapor which is inhaled by the user. …
