ACTNO. 8401 BILL NO. 33-0362 THIRTY-THIRD LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2020 An Act appropriating $900,000 from the St. John Capital Improvement Fund to the Virgin Islands Port Authority for certain improvements to the Loredon Lorence Boynes Sr. Ferry Terminal at Cruz Bay, St. John ---0--- WHEREAS, St. John drives a significant amount of tourism traffic to the Territory; and WHEREAS, most of these visitors enter and leave St. John through the Loredon Lorence Boynes, Sr. Ferry Terminal; and WHEREAS, the terminal should be aesthetically pleasing, safe and comfortable, with the necessary amenities for visitors and locals alike; and WHEREAS, a huge portion of St. Johnian and St. Thomian residents use this terminal on a daily basis; and WHEREAS, the St. John Capital Improvement Fund was developed specifically for capital improvement projects to best serve the St. John community; Now, Therefore, Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1.
