Vipd news release 112023 357 assault 1st on rhymer highway
THE VIRGIN ISLANDS POLICE DEPARTMENT “To Protect and Serve” Office of the Commissioner VIPD NEWS RELEASE- 112023-357 For Immediate Media Distribution November 20, 2023 CIB Investigates Discharging of Shots That Left Two Individuals Injured St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – On Sunday, November 19, 2023, at approximately 3:00 a.m., the Criminal Investigation Bureau traveled to the Roy L. Schnieder Regional Medical Center in reference to two gunshot victims. A preliminary investigation revealed that the victims were both in the area of Raphune Hill when they heard shots and immediately thereafter discovered that they had been shot. One victim sustained a gun shot wound to the hand and the other to the back. Both victims were treated for their wounds at the Roy L. Schneider Regional Medical Center. This case is presently under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Bureau.
