EDITORIAL. | We turned down yesterday a communj- cation dealing with alleged violation of | the Police Regulations by Navy Hospital | apprentices who are represented as mak- | ing a practice of pitching ball across the | public street to the inconvenience and exposure .to danger of the public. Perhaps it will be interasting to the \ reaqevs of this paper to know the writer . of this article has seen but lately a pair ' .of boots which the owner of them told him, were bought the year before “‘Fire Burn’’, that is nearly 44-years ago. These boots to all appearances seem well preserved, and are descrlbgd as be ing ‘‘very comicrtable’’.
