It is hereby anhounced that an election will be held in the Court House at Fred- eriksted, on the Bth September 1923, tor the purpose of electing 1 member (o fill the vacancy which occurred The Polling will commence at 1 o’clock p. m. and in accordance with Section 30 of the Colonial Law, close at the earliest at 4 o’clock p m. No one can be considered ualoss he has apnounced bumsell as a candidate or has bees so announced by ene ol the iSlectors of the izetoral Distrier. I'he announcem ot of candidature shall either be made in writing or by personal attendane=2 of the announcer or announc ers at the Electoral Board. The writien announeement signed by the apnouncer or annourcers, must be sent to the undersigned Chairman at my official office, not later than 4 o’clock p. m. September 4, and for veceiving an- nouncements made personaliy, the Elec- toral Board will meet at the place wnere the election 15 to be held at 3 o’clock p. m. on WEDNESDAY September 5, 1923, The Electoral Board forth: Country Distriet of Frederiksted, St. Croix, Vir- gin Islands of the U. 5.
