COMMITTEE ON BUDGET, APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE BILL NO. 36-0072 Thirty-Sixth Legislature of the Virgin Islands March 28, 2025 An Act appropriating $405,000 from the General Fund of the Treasury of the Virgin Islands to the Virgin Islands Fire and Emergency Medical Services for the purchase of three ambulances PROPOSED BY: Senator Ray Fonseca Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: 1 SECTION 1. The sum of $405,000 is appropriated from the General Fund of the 2 Treasury of the Government of the Virgin Islands to the Virgin Islands Fire and Emergency 3 Medical Services in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2025, for the purchase of three 4 ambulances: one for St. Croix, one for St. John and one for St. Thomas. 5 BILL SUMMARY 6 This bill appropriates $405,000 from the General Fund of the Treasury of the 7 Government of the Virgin Islands to the Virgin Islands Fire and Emergency Medical Services 8 to fund the purchase of three ambulances for St. Croix, St. John and St. Thomas. 9 BR25-0517/March 5, 2025/GC 10
