128 COURSE OFFERINGS COVERING VIRGIN ISLANDS LITERATURE AND LITERARY FIGURES (Board of Trustees Meeting, July 14, 1978) With regard to the request that the curriculum offerings of the College of the Virgin Islands include a course on Virgin Islands literature and literary figures, the President updated the report contained in the College's letter of May 31. He stated to the Board that the Humanities Division faculty was considering a proposal to the Divisional Council of the College that such a course be considered for inclusion in the curriculum, and that while the approval of course offerings was a faculty matter, he anticipated affirmative action in meeting this request.
