@ o Publication. T is hereby made known, that whereas l the following Member of the Colonial Council elected by the Voters of Fred- eriksted Country District, viz: 2nd Me n- ber G. NORDBY, has recently become disqualified tc sit in <aid Couancil and hold said office, because of the passage nv Congress of an Act which was ap- proved on July 12, 1921. it is resolved, by virtue of paragraph 34, Section S of the Colonial Law, that a special election of a Member to the Council in lieu of the said gentleman, shall take place in the Courthouse in Frederiksted on THURSDAY THE 25tH DAY OF AU- GUST 1921. The polling will commence at 1 o’clock p. m. and in accordance with Paragraph 30 of the Colonial Law, will close at 4 p. m. at the earliest. At the election no one can be consid- ered unless he has announced himself as a candidate, or has been so announced by one of the electors of the Electonal District. The announcement of candi- dature shall either be made in writing, or.py personal attendance of the an- notncer before the Eleetoral Board. …
