The L-osburg Co:nmercial, of Lees- burg. Lake couuty, Fia, has made its appearance on paper made from saw- grass, demonstrating that the weed whiech abounds in shallow wa'ers in Florida is of practical value in paper making. A large mill in operation at Leeshurg is utilizinz sawgrass to man- ufseture many kinds ¢f parer. The weed is said to make a hizh grade paper spiendid for newsprint and of a much better finish than that made from wood pulp. B sides being stronger than the other, it is much cheaper to manufac- ture. Harding within an cval and parily enclosed in a panel which is supported on either side by acanihus scrolls. Above the portrait within a curved panel appezr the words "United States Postave’ in white roman capital letiers. On a ribbon below the oval 1s tt.2 pame ‘Harding’, and under this at the bottoin of the stamp avpears the words ‘Cents.” In both lower corners within ovais with dark vackgrounds is ine white numersl '2’, la the upper left- Land corner appears the year of birth, 1855, and in the upper right-hand corner the year of death, ‘1923’.
