We reviewed SBA’s staffing adequacy, loan application volume, and timeliness of disaster loan approvals in response to the damages caused by hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria. The objective of this review is to summarize the results of those inspection reports. To accomplish our objective, we compiled the results to identify successes, issues, risks, and contributing factors. We also interviewed officials from SBA’s Office of Disaster Assistance to identify any planned or initiated corrective actions. …
