We, at USVIEDA, are seeking to improve the existing facility by constructing a new and permanent home for our St. Thomas Headquarters. In conjunction to this request, our intent is to modernize the current facility for commercial opportunities/activities. Our target date to start this project is fall 2025, starting with selective demolition and the second phase of actual construction commencing December 2025. It is also our intent to process the applicable forms needed for all required permits. The proposed activity is consistent to the maximum extent practicable with the Virgin Islands Coastal Zone Management Program and will be conducted in a manner consistent with such program. Attached is a detailed description of the project, including drawings and a map with our Federal Consistency Determination Report, which demonstrates the project’s compliance with the Coastal Zone Management Program.
