ACTNO. 8317 BILL NO. 33-0327 THIRTY-THIRD LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2020 An Act approving the Lease Agreement between the Government of the Virgin Islands Department of Property and Procurement and Marco St. Croix, Inc. ---0--- WHEREAS, the Government of the Virgin Islands executed an agreement with Marco St. Croix, Inc. on February 4, 2020, for the lease of Plot No. 182 Estate Anna's Hope, Company Quarter, St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands consisting of approximately 0.5 U.S. acres for operation a recycling center and automobile detailing center; WHEREAS, title 31, section 205 (c) of the Virgin Islands Code provides that in addition to the required approval of the Governor as provided for in subsection (b) of this section, no sale, exchange, lease, or sublease of government real estate is binding upon the Government of the Virgin Islands, unless and until it is approved by the Legislature; and WHEREAS, this act is to approve a lease granted to Marco St. Croix, Inc. …
