ACTNO, 8684 BILL NO. 34-0238 THIRTY-FOURTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2022 An Act amending title 17 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 5, section 41(c), relating to courses of study in public schools to require that Virgin Islands and Caribbean history to be integrated into the curriculum for kindergarten through grade 12 ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 17 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 5, section 41, subsection (c) is amended by striking the language in paragraph (1) and inserting new language to read: “The history of the Virgin Islands and basic Caribbean history to be integrated into the curriculum for kindergarten through grade 12.” Thus passed by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands on December 29, 2022.
