ACTNO. 8170 BILL NO. 33-0006 THIRTY-THIRD LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2019 An Act amending title 20 Virgin Islands Code, part II, chapter 37, subchapter II, section 407 of the Virgin Islands Code relating to taxi medallions by prohibiting veterans who obtain taxi medallions at auction from selling the medallion to a person who is not a veteran Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 20, part I, chapter 37, subchapter II, section 407 of the Virgin Islands Code is amended in subsection (c), after the sixth sentence by inserting a sentence that reads as follows: “A veteran who acquires a medallion at an auction under this subsection may not sel] the medallion to a person who is not a veteran of the United States Armed Forces. …
