SIZE OF LEGISLATURE. 3 Section 5(b) of the Revised Organic Act of the Virgin 4 Islands (48 U.S.C. 1571(b)) is amended— 5 (1) by striking ‘‘fifteen’’; and 6 (2) by inserting after the first sentence the fol- 7 lowing: ‘‘The number of such senators shall be de- 8 termined by the laws of the Virgin Islands.’’. 9 SEC. 2. …

NUMBER CONSTITUTING QUORUM. 10 The first sentence of section 9(a) of the Revised Or- 11 ganic Act of the Virgin Islands (48 U.S.C. 1575(a)) is 12 amended to read as follows: ‘‘The number of members of 13 the legislature needed to constitute a quorum shall be de- 14 termined by the laws of the Virgin Islands.’’. 15 Passed the House of Representatives September 12, 2000.
