Office of the Commissioner Monday, March 13, 2023 PUBLIC NOTICE Commissioner Jean-Pierre L. Oriol of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources informs the public that the following St. Croix Coastal Zone Management (CZM) Committee Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at 5:30 pm. In an effort to help to reduce the global spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), this meeting will be held via the video conferencing platform Zoom. The agenda is as follows: Decision Meeting Federal Consistency Determination No. CZX-5-23(FC) has been submitted by VI Department of Agriculture. The project proposes to construct a two-story structure to replace the previous Administrative Building which was damaged by the 2017 Hurricanes and later demolished. The proposed project site is located at Plot No. 1 Estate Lower Love, Kingshill, St. Croix, Virgin Islands. Federal Consistency Determination No. CZX-7-23(FC) has been submitted by VI Department of Public Works. …

The project proposes to demolish the main existing office building and adjoining equipment storage bays, and replace with a new state-of-the-art office structure and a separate heavy equipment storage structure shed. An existing storage building located at the northeast corner of the property will be restored and renovated to current IBC 2021 building code standards. The property will be fully enclosed with an aesthetic architectural security fence. Additionally, three small existing utility structures will be demolished. The proposed project site is located at #73-B Estate Concordia, St. Croix, Virgin Islands.
