ACT NO, 7715 BILL NO. 30-0537 THIRTIETH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2014 An Act ratifying Major Coastal Zone Permit No. CZT-04-13(W) issued to the St. Thomas Sports Fishing Center, Inc. ---()--- WHEREAS, the St. Thomas Committee of the Virgin Islands Coastal Zone Management Commission issued Major Coastal Zone Permit No. CZT-04-13(W) to the St. Thomas Sports Fishing Center, Inc., on September 23, 2014, and the Governor approved the Permit on October 20, 2014; and WHEREAS, Major Coastal Zone Permit No. CZT-04-13(W) allows for the continued use and occupancy of the existing 260-foot long x 12- foot wide wooden pier, with a 40 foot x 12 foot “T”; twenty-four moorings piles; a small public dinghy landing; 35,401 ft of submerged lands; and the relocation of 10 pilings on the western side of the dock to a distance of forty (40) feet; and WHEREAS, title 12 Virgin Islands Code, section 911, subsection (e), provides that the Governor’s approval must be ratified by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands; and WHEREAS, the Legislature has determined that the grant of Major C …
