COMMITTEE ON BUDGET, APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE BILL NO. 36-0239 Thirty-Sixth Legislature of the Virgin Islands February 2, 2026 An act appropriating $500,000 from the Health Revolving Fund to the Virgin Islands Government Hospital and Health Facilities Corporation to hire a turnaround company to assess the condition of the territory’s hospitals and recommend viable structural and organizational changes PROPOSED BY: Senator Milton E. Potter Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the use restrictions in 33 V.I.C. § 3017, the sum of 2 $500,000 is appropriated in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026, from the Health 3 Revolving Fund to the Virgin Islands Government Hospital & Health Facilities Corporation, to 4 hire a turnaround company to assess the condition of the territory’s hospitals and recommend 5 viable structural and organizational changes. …
