ACTNO. 6734 BILL NO. 26-0021 TWENTY-SIXTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES Rae Regular Session ee 2005 To appropriate $400,000 from the Internal Revenue Matching Fund to the Department of Education for the purpose of establishing and conducting the Summer Science and Humanities Enrichment Program ---0--- BE IT ENACTED by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the Internal Revenue Matching Fund in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2005. the sum of $400,000 to the Department of Education for the purpose of establishing and conducting the Summer Science and Humanities Enrichment Program in the districts of St. Croix and St. Thomas/St. John. The funds shal] be distributed equally between each district and geared towards junior high and high schoo] students’ improvement of their performances in the science and humanities disciplines. The program shal] be administered by the District Coordinators of the Department of Education, and the funds shall remain available unti] expended. …
