ACTNO. 780 BILL NO. 31-0124 THIRTY-FIRST LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2015 An Act amending title 15, part I, chapter 1, section 18 of the Virgin Islands Code, which permits a child born after the making of a will to collect from a decedent’s estate, by authorizing the establishment of paternity through DNA testing o--()--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 15, part I, chapter 1, section 18 of the Virgin Islands Code is amended in subsection (b) by inserting after the words “birth certificate;” the words “or paternity has been established by DNA testing;”.
