GOVERNMENT OF THE VIRGIN [SLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES ST. THOMAS, Executive Order No. 2--1923. N order that eomplete and accurate re- cord may be kept of persons who ar- rive in the Virgin Islands, especially aliens, there will hereafter be kept at the ports of St, Thomas, St. John, Chris- tiansted and Frederiksted, a book to be known as the Immigration Record in which will be recorded the following data concerning persons arviving in the Virgin Islands: 1. Full name. e Rue 3. BSex. 4. Lolor, D. Date of arrival. i, Name ol vessel. 7. Citizenship, ¥, Former residence, 9. Oecupation. iU, Local address. l 11. Remarks (description of passport, | length of stay and other pertinent | information. ' The information necessary to complete | this record will be procured under the cognizance of the Directors of Police in St. Thomas and St. Croix, and the Des- patching Seeretary at St. John. Each vessel earcying passengers will be board- ed by an official from the above offices when the necessary data will be secured to be later transposed to the permanent [mmigration Record. Captains of ves- sels will not be permitted to land passen- gers until the data for this record have been obtained. Passengers who remain in a port of the Virgin Islands only during the stay of the ship, and who depart with it, need not be recorded. The data required by the Immigration Record are in addition to the require- ments of existing laws regarding Jmmi- oration, foreigners, ete. in the Virgin | Islands.
