ERENT TE SNCS TY I RG RRR TIE AT ETS me searane ' ACTNO. 7089 BILL NO. 28-0043 TWENTY-EIGHTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2009 An Act amending title 3 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 1, section 26b providing for free transportation to senior citizens on VITRAN buses Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 3 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 1, section 26b is amended in the following instances: (a) Subsection (b) is amended in the introductory language by striking “ this section” and inserting “subsection (a)”; and (b) Subsection (c) is added to read as follows: “(c) In addition to the transportation services provided for in subsection (a), a senior citizen as defined in subsection (b), or a individual with a disability may ride VITRAN fixed route services buses free of charge, upon presenting a senior citizen’s card or other form of authorization issued by the Department of Human Services. …
